Our football World Cup
For a long time Romanus, the policeman who often greets us with his smile at veterinary gate on the C44 towards Tsumkwe, asked us to support the football team of his village.
Children there does not have many opportunities for practicing sports and often spend their time in bars (shebeen), where the greatest soon start drinking ……
It has been sufficient to describe the situation to Francesco and Grazia, the owners of our supporter firm Bartolucci Francesco SrL, for receiving 22 wonderful football t-shirts with the logo of Scintille and that of their company.
On the 18 of march Scintille delivered them to Romanus: immediately the two teams have been created and the game began. The numerous spectators supported both teams with a spectacular feast!

Energy Kindergarten Project presentation to Rotary Club Rimini
On the 27 of november 2008 Scintille’s President Mr. Gianluca Massalini presented in the prestigious Grand Hotel Rimini the results of the Energy Kindergarten Project to the members of the Rotary Club Rimini, who financed part of the project. The presentation and subsequent discussion have raised great interest and participation, reflecting the deep commitment by Rotary in the field of social solidarity. High satisfaction was expressed by the President of the Club, Mr. Gianluca Spigolon, together with the desire to explore new ways of partnership with Scintille.
Special thanks go to Mr. Paolo Salvetti, member of the Rotary Club Rimini, who managed all the necessary links with Scintille for the success of the project

SCINTILLE is born
Scintille is our Association of social solidarity.
By Scintille, that means ‘sparks’, we want to propose a new way of talking about solidarity, rejecting both assistenzialism and presumption of applying standard models, ignoring local realities and traditions. At the mean time we reject the classic models of the big international NGO: we don’t think to change the world but we hold out our hands for trying to solve small and important problems that everyday we have in front of us.We are not professionals of NGO’s, but we are professionals in organization and entrepreneurship.
We don’t want to change the world, but we know that, step by step, with humility and tenacity we can make a lot, every time looking to the reality in front of us, to concrete problems, to the present…
We work in Africa, at present in Namibia, but the world is too big to be circumscribed to only one place..
