Campaign description

As part of the development of local entrepreneurship and with the aim of creating jobs for the Namibian communities, Scintille financed the purchase of a machine to thresh mahangu. Mahangu (the local millet, a very important source of sustenance) is the main cultivation practiced in Owamboland and from it we obtain the flour which is the basis for the local ‘porridge’.

Today threshing is often done by hand, with a very long and tiring process. With the purchase of the new thresher we gave Chicco and MeeRooha the opportunity to offer paid automatic threshing service to the local community and thus develop their own business project.
